One last tragedy to share and with a post that may allow you to reflect and pray for the innocents grieving for their loss. This is a systemic problem and we are ALL accountable. Where is the love, the nurturing, the guidance, the discipline, the stability? Rather than pointing fingers we need to find a way as a community to care…and help people heal.


A Whisper says:

Standing happily one minute,

Sprawled and mortally wounded the next.

I was watching the international news this afternoon when the reports came about an Australian college baseball player who was gunned down. The authorities call the crime as thrill killing.

I also remember that bombing incident at the finish line of a marathon event. Spectators were among the victims.

These two tragedies happened when the victims probably did not have any inkling that they would meet their deaths. They did not  see the ominous signs somewhere.

Are the innocents the fair game for lawless elements of societies?

The perpetrators should pay the highest price for their misdeeds. Justice should be swift and hard. But even if they get jailed for the rest of their lives, the criminals could not bring back the lives they’ve snuffed out from this world.
